Cheng Hai is known internationally for his work in research, development and total quality environment management within the plantation crops industry.
He has produced more than 65 papers and edited works and served as advisor/consultant to various private enterprises, governmental agencies, non-governmental organisations, regional and international organisations. These include the World Bank Group, United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, Asian Productivity Organization, Association of South East Asian Nations Secretariat, United Kingdom’s Department for International Development (China), World Wildlife Fund, Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil and Solidaridad.
He is also an independent consultant on process facilitation and is familiar with various facilitation approaches and models. He was managing consultant of a Juran Institute, Inc. subsidiary in 2000/2001 and is a certified supervisory Grid corporate instructor.
Cheng Hai advises Tukija on science-related matters, change management and capacity building.
